The word acolyte means "companion," or one who helps.
Acolytes serve as helpers to the priest and perform a number of important functions before, during and at the close of the worship service. Acolytes may be fifth grade students and older and they serve at all worship services, including special services such as weddings, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter.
We encourage anyone interested in this ministry to contact the Rector or call the church office (261-2355).
