ECW is an organization of the women of the parish. Every baptized woman in the Church is an Episcopal Church Woman and welcome to participate.
The purpose of the group is to accomplish together more than each of us might singly attempt and to have the joy of fellowship as we strive together. We take part in five fields of service: parish, community, diocese, nation and the world through a program based on worship, study service, gifts and fellowship.
St. John’s ECW meets at the church on the second Tuesday of each month from October through May. We begin with Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m., followed by a business meeting, program and luncheon.
A Bridge group meets each Wednesday at 12:30 in Sugden Hall and we sponsor “Art in the Afternoon,” a fund-raising week-end gallery of original art works, accompanied by “English Tea in the Garden.” Proceeds from both the bridge group and the art week-end all go to support outreach efforts in the community, diocese and parish.
