The Intercessory Prayer Chain is not to be confused with the prayers requested during “Prayers of the People” at the regular church services. Instead, this group prays daily for people who have requested intercessory prayers for specific circumstances. Many are long-term needs, although the list is updated weekly.
Also, in times of emergency, the intercessors are informed by phone and prayers set into action immediately.
All requests are kept in strict confidence within the group. This is a wonderful ministry in which people who are home-bound might also participate in the life of our parish in a most meaningful way.
If you would like to become an intercessor or if you have a special request for the Prayer Chain, please contact the church office at 261-2355.
